Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Right now 54.studio is a pre-launch page that does one thing: it lets you sign up to hear when we launch. This policy covers that sign-up only. When our marketplace goes live we will publish a fuller policy covering buying and selling. This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about under-18s.

Who we are

For the purposes of UK data protection law, the controller of your personal data is 54 STUDIO HQ LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17180190, registered office Level One, Basecamp, 49 Jamaica Street, Liverpool, England, L1 0AH, trading as 54.studio. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@54.studio.

What we collect

Only your email address, when you enter it in our sign-up form. Nothing else. Our website and form provider may also log basic technical information such as your IP address as part of running the site securely.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you updates about 54.studio, including news about our launch. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us at hello@54.studio.

Who we share it with

We will never sell your email address, and we will never share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the sign-up form, store the list and send our emails. They act only on our instructions and are not permitted to use your details for their own purposes.

Where your data is stored

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected to an equivalent standard using safeguards approved for that purpose. Contact us if you would like details.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which we keep a minimal record of your opt-out so that we can honour it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@54.studio. We aim to respond within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have not handled your data properly, please tell us first at hello@54.studio so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/concerns or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new date at the top.
